GENERAL NEDIYM / DE CHORUS colt
The colt's mother DE CHORUS only had 8 career starts with
them all being Sydney metropolitan and won two of those starts, with four other
minor placings (Career: 8-2-3-1). The family is also a
very consistent running family, by them all making it to the races and winning,
and some winning a high number of times (i.e. 17 times). The top priced lot at
the Easter Yearling sales was a out of an UNBRIDLED'S SONG mare (which sold
of $1.875m) and Gai's Pago Pago stakes winner and Golden Slipper runner
BRIGHTEXPECTATIONS was also out of an UNBRIDLED'S SONG mare and bred by the same
stud Torryburn who have sold and bred 5 individual two year winners this season.
As a weanling the colt was brown, but as he lost his foal
coat and got older he is becoming a grey after his mother. He is a very dark
black / grey now but as he gets older he will become lighter, like all greys do.
